You should. When I filed my NOD with WACO RO this year, they sent out a letter 3 weeks later saying they received my NOD. Then again it may be different and other RO's.

I had no problem with the IRIS way to go, I recieved a letter in the mail, asked for that. It says they have my appeal. Problem solved.
